Virtualdub

Hey guys,
I'm having some trouble with virtualdub, it won't let me upload a video I shot on my iPhone 4s? I'm assuming I need to convert the video but I'm not sure how to go about it? Do I need to download software to do this? If so does anyone know the best free software for the job? Any help would be great, thanks

VirtualDub won't support the MOV files your iPhone 4S is producing. What are you trying to achieve in VirtualDub (eg. editing?), and what do you plan on doing with the VirtualDub processed video (eg. upload to YouTube, burn to DVD ...)?
