You're right to be certain. There's no ads in ImgBurn. Yeah ok so DVDInfoPro displays some in the free version but it only takes a donation and they're gone. I donated some time ago and I'd actually forgotten the ads even existed until you just mentioned it!
Oh and nobody has added anything of anyone elses into either program. This is all new stuff.
I wrote my bit for ImgBurn, they wrote their bit (the reading back / displaying part) for DVDInfoPro.Comment

Thanks for that info LUK!
For some reason DVDIP (adware mode) also craps out on both my PCs and the prog hangs after a bit. Most certainly a conflict with something in my machines, so till now I haven't mentioned it. I guess, combined with no-ads, that's why I like CD Speed 2000.

As there is NO WAY I will install spamware DVDinfoPRO. A program partially based on others code, by a developer that that is willing to ruin others lives to get where he wants. I think you teamed up with the wrong guys... But that is your decision.Comment

LUK! has already said IB will remain ad free. And of course it will be kept up to date.

Freaker (clearly you're just visiting from the CD Freaks forum )
Like a lot of things in this world, you have to work hard to achieve them. I don't see how showing dedication to your work can be seen as THAT bad?!
Quite often, people will falsely accuse you of doing something wrong, and then the rest of the world hates you for putting those people straight.
Don't judge someone on what others have said, make up your own mind if you're ever in a position to actually get to know the person.
From what I've heard, NicW did nothing except cover his own arse!Comment

Sure - everybody needs to make up their mind - and I've seen enough to make up mine
But if one is only informed from one of the sides it may be quite hard to make the correct decisions..
Oh well - I'll leave it there. Don't think I'll install imgburn in fear of some DIP code gotten into it. But thanks for DVD Decrypter - I'll continue to use thatComment
-
No problem, I certainly wont lose any sleep because you've chosen not to upgrade to a better burning program.Comment
-
Lightning UK, have you a new version?
Check this thread at Afterdawn: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/282924
and
Thanks.Comment

I have to say luk I am using it more & more because I am doing most things manually instead of just letting the program do it.Touch wood no problem at all with it.I do feel kind of guilty though about not using the old friend DvdD which I am not letting go because as I found out yesterday with having to use the wizard it is still invaluable.Thank you for everything. You do have an update don't you?
