try some decent media , CMC tends to give problems.
    try taiyo yuden or verbatim
the symptoms you describe sound like bad media

And this cause your wasting of media.

The best results are burning near the certified speed of the media, not the lowest possible.

Moreover, you are burning among the worst media ever produced in market.

Benq 1620 is one of the best burners, but you should buy some better media.

Get verbatims or Taiyo yuden if you can find. Also ricoh media are good.

must be a bug in the burning program cause 1x is not supported by your media or burner

It burns fine but when i'll test it in the PS2 or in another dvd player, in the end of the DVD it freezes, it happens lot's of times...

could it be the recorder? media (now i'm using tdk and sony media)

                      Any ideas?

more than likely the players(PS2's are awful) and you need to lower your target size to 4400 and then to 4300 if that doesn't work.
