what does it say under current setting when you choose +R ? -
I see where it's remembering it, just have to verify it's doing it, never noticed it in the log as it was burning.
found the setting to save log and not overwrite, durn!Comment

Stuck disk back in and saw current profile dvd+r but scrolled
down to see physical format info(last recorded)

btw the 3550/4550 is supposed to be the best burner NEC
