Verbatim +R DL coaster or burner is shot?

This disc failed at the verifying stage. Is this a run of the mill coaster or my burner is shot? Thanks!

Totally unbelievable - you tried to burn a DL at 8x on an USB burner. It was doomed from the start.

Read the FAQ on burning speeds - USB burners can not pump the stuff thru rapidly enough - see here.

Read and implement the Golden Rules of Burning.

You should only use genuine Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden media. Many thanks to www.pcx.com.au for their supply and great service.
