I am trying to use ImgBurn after i used dvd shrink but it can read my disc. I am trying to use dvd-R discs (maxell discs). ImgBurn cant read my discs. Is there a diff dvd burner i can use that is free or how can i fix this

umm you know where you are suppose to click burn at the bottom of the window... mine is a watermark
also, its not checked at compatitableComment

Put your Maxell disk in and go to write mode. Post everything in the top right hand corner box (cut and paste the lot).

As I'm guessing there will only be 2 lines in that box, please write out what it says in the status bar.
Probably something like:
'Device Not Ready (Medium Not Present)'
If you DO have a disc in the drive at this time, your drive doesn't agree! Update the drives firmware and/or switch to using some discs that it actually supports.Comment
