"Cannot write medium- incompatable format"

This is the error I get when I try and burn with IMGBURN after using DVD shrink...it goes thru all the sectors and finally says this

I have an AOPEN DVD Burner and have used it before when I had the old version of DVD Shrink,,,it all started when I downloaded and updated to the new version

Is it my burner or is it the disc's ??

If you look at the 'Manufactuer ID' line you'll see that the new DVDs you got are the same as the last lot - both with a MID code of 'CMC MAG. AM3'. The brand name means nothing, it's the dye they use that you need to look at.

Get some Verbatim (MCC dye) or Taiyo Yuden and then try again.

Test mode works because it's not actually writing to the disc. When it actually tries, it fails.
