    I/O error

I'm using a HP940 burner thats flashed over to a lite on LH-18A1H (HL06), ever since the flash, when I use dvd shrink and burn iso with ImgBurn I get a power calibration error. If i unplug the power from this device, then try to burn the iso with ImgBurn (not using dvd shrink) it burns.

Is there something I need to do with ImgBurn to rectify this?

This particular burner only has 25 burns on it and has been cleaned.

I use dvdshrink and ImgBurn with my lite-on 160p6s with absolutely no problems.

    Any help?

here are 2 logs, one success with just iso, and one non success with dvdshrinkto imgburn

This is a drive / media issue. The software doesn't even come into it.

I've just installed the new LH-20A1H drive in my PC and it failed to write to the first YUDEN000-T02-00 disc I gave it. Whilst the drive was performing the LeadIn stuff, it was making some odd sounds. It took a while but eventually it errored out with a 'Write Error'. I put another disc in and it worked fine - achieving a 99% scan in DVDInfoPro (BenQ 1655) and 95% in CDSpeed (LH-20A1H).

So basically these things just happen! As the firmware matures, I'm sure they'll fix these issues.

Thanks Lightning.....I definately came to the conclusion that it wasnt ImgBurn....I could pull up iso's created by shrink, and burn them, but not go automatically to Imgburn from shrink and burn, if that makes sense. I flashed that drive back to the hp firmware and just use it as a reader and lightscribe burner since i picked up another shw-160p6s. Having great success with that burner!
Thanks for the fantastic burning program, keep up the good work!!!
