    May want to back down the burn speed from 16X.

    Also, check your firmware for that Liteon http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1818

            boy that's a "can of worms" liteon oem drive

            first it's an 8X drive and only sees the 16x media as 4x

            looks like codeguys crossflash or buy a new drive

                    I saw that & the codeguys crossflash...was wondering also, & it is an older drive... 2004?

                    Go on katzdvd, live a little, just this once, update it.
                    I will give it some serious thought

                        all you have to do is take codeguys firmware drop into mediacodespeededit and load and then you will see even the newest firmware does not see that media

                        that when you want to make your own firmware or buy a new drive or older media

                            using 2006 media with a 2004 drive is not a good idea
