    Wanted to say thanks

i have not had any success with shrink/img d.l. I wanted to thank you all for all your help. i am looking into alternatives, other than purchasing the new nero beast! seems excessive for just the dvd feature. anyway you guys rock!

Were you able to burn with ImgBurn manually? (I thought you did and all was well)

i did get a clean burn but very time consuming. man does that sound lazy, i am not actually lazy. for lack of a better reason, i worry that i will screw that up and i already have plenty of coasters, ha.

I believe you had to use build mode, that looks hard but isn't at all.

i did use the build mode. i printed out cathy's user guide last night and am going to study on it. i wonder if i save to a iso file, if possible does it put all the files in one so you do not have to add each ifo, vob and bup?

            Yes!

Even in build mode you should only have to add the folder, that's it.
Try creating a few ISO, then burn in write mode, very easy.

before I deleted the new imgburn and reinstalled doing some testing with
dvd flick, I had imgburn set up to burn video folder files and not ask me any questions, it was actually easier and faster than nero

Once you get used to this IMHO, it doesn't get any easier.

I am willing to try about anything to keep from loading up nero, seems to be a pretty large program over a gig i believe.

i wonder if the fact that when i set this system up this weekend and loaded ripit/decryp/and shrink then went back and tried to do the img set up, even after i removed them it still acted like they were there and would not overwrite the exe file.
