No..it's my oldest. My newest is a Pionner DVR-110D. But it doesn't booktype, so I used the Lite-On.
      Any ideas what happened??

I have two of those burners. One internal and one external. Burns fine and my firmware is KSOB.

The pioneer will booktype dvd+r dl automatically to dvd-rom by default

and if you crossflash to the buffalo firmware it will do the dvd+r single layer

if the liteon has seen it's better days use the pioneer

So your thinkin it's a burner issue and not the ISO file?? I built this ISO with IMGburn and the layer break options were all "average". I thought maybe that had something to do with this failing.

              Failed to Write Sectors 1147008 - 1147039 -
you weren't even close to the layer break

bad burner or bad disk or both?
