What would cause divided VTS files?

    Hello.

I followed all the great guides and did get a burned backup.

However, what would cause the VTS files (1,2,3,4) to play like with a break in between each one when they end (Black space on screen) and another begins instead of playing seemlessly?

Heres a JPG of the disc.

    thnx

Sounds like a mastering error versus a burning error...was the source a DVD rip? Did you build an ISO with Imgburn?

      Hi.
Yes ripped from DVD from DVD recorder to Shrink to ISO Build on Image Burn then burned from that ISO.

Why not create an ISO with DVD Shrink instead of a VIDEO_TS folder before going to Imgburn?

I was just offering it as an alternative to see if another ISO source fixed the problem...could also just be a freak occurance.

Thnx for that cause I totally forget about Shrink and ISOs.....Im so use to using it for other things.

Ya probably a freak thing which is why nowadays I backup using RWs first to see what happens so I dont ruin the R ones with a one time burn.

It seems a lot I have probs. with the RWs and multiple uses. Seem to freeze sometimes which is also why I chose to use the ISO to burn.

thnx again, locoeng for your suggestions
