+R issue

I finally had a chance to test out the booktype setting on my verb +r on a crappy APEX player. I put 3 +r backups I created set to DVD-Rom and the player did not recognize them; I got a no disc error. Then I put in some backups that were -r and they played flawlessly. All Verbatim media. Any Ideas?

That happened to me, almost exactly the same thing. Disks wouldn't play but would in a computer drive, even scanned a 95 with cdspeed

Never happened again, some bad verbatim disks also

No they worked in all my other players, including the ultra-sensitive Play Station 2. Just not the Apex.
