    Another I/O Error plea

    New to imbburn, semi-new to burning dvds.... I used to be able to burn perfectly good movies directly from Adobe Premiere Elements, but PE can no longer recognize my DVD Burner. sigh. Anyway, other PE users with this error have recommended imgburn, but my first try ended in an I/O Error, apparently in the verify stage.


    I've read some of the posts, and my error looks similar to others', so I'm hoping.... Here's the log. Thanks!

      Why verify? If it's a coaster you can't fix it anyway. It plays or it don't.

          Hmm... Well, that makes sense! and lo and behold, it works! A little shakier than I would expect, but it plays. So -- great! Thanks!

              Get rid of the CMC Mag discs. They are really very low quality media. Change to Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim blanks. That burner is pretty old, too.

              Read and implement the Golden Rules of Burning.
