LucasArts has announced that they have chosen the Sony PS3 over the Microsoft Xbox 360 to lead development of future next-gen games after the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. Big games in the past have all been developed on the Xbox 360 first the moved over to the PS3, such as Grand Theft Auto IV. Things are beginning to change though.
Makes sense, because up to now, the trend has been:
Xbox 360 -> PS3 port => Good 360 game, heavily delayed and bad PS3 game
PS3 -> Xbox 360 port => Good PS3 game, Good 360 game, both slightly delayed
Although in terms of Lucasarts, I wish they would work on the Wii version first, since it's the Wii game everyone has been waiting for.
