Survey Says: Blu-ray Interest Is Lukewarm

But according to a new poll by Harris, this isn't exactly the case.

At the present, only 10% of HDTV owners additionally have a Blu-ray disc player. But when 2,500 U.S. adults were surveyed, only 14% of them said that they intended to go Blu within the next year.

I Hope Blu-ray dies away. I sure as heck don't want to pay $25 a pop just to get more crap besides the movie ...

DVDs and DVD players where high priced when they first came out as well.I don't get the purpose of all these articles on how Blu-ray is not doing well. All it's doing is scaring people off. When more people start adopting Blu-ray,BR movie and player prices will go down .If you look around, new release Blu-ray movie prices are starting to come down.V For Vedetta is selling for $19.99 and Rambo is selling $21.99.
