    Does the FBI consider copyright issues more important than missing persons?

    techdirt has a new article up which criticizes the FBI for possibly prioritizing copyright infringement cases over things like identify fraud and even missing persons.

    Citing a new report which says missing person cases receive low priority when it comes to FBI lab time, it contrasts with the creation of a special task force earlier in the year to tackle the "the rise in intellectual property crime."

    techdirt also point to an earlier story that they published in which it was found that identity fraud has become yet another low priority crime for the FBI.
