    Monitor Problem

    Hi,
    Sorry to bother you all but I was wondering if someone could help me I am having this problem in which my monitor picture is not a square. I have adjust all setting in the monitor adjustment panel, but I cant seem to get the top of my monitor perfectly strait. Also if you need to now what kind of monitor I have, Hp A4033 .26 21" rgb 5bnc connector.

      This is an inherent limitation of CRT monitors. Rarely can you ever get perfect geometry on them. If you really want such perfect geometry, an LCD will provide well though it will cost a lot more than CRTs.

        Two things worth trying:

        1) Reduce brightness

        2) Ever-so-slightly reduce size

        By the way, have you pressed the degauss button recently - if not, do so...

                yeah tryed that, does anyone know of a software that can adjust the picture, I rember when I had a tview(focus) it came with software that could do that.
