    Soccer fans?

Anyone here follow soccer, in particular English soccer?

Just curious as to how popular the "world game" is on these boards.

Actually when I lived in Iowa and in Tennessee Soccer was like on the bottom of the list even though in Iowa I was really up with the sport.

Now that I live in Louisiana it is popular again. I keep up with it as often as I can besides when I am not posting here working on my site or at school

EDIT : By the way, like my new Sig pic?

Not a fan of soccer though, but I did immensely enjoy last year's World Cup.

Loved the World Cup as well - that was what got me interested soccer in the first place (not the last world cup, but the one before that).

The time zone of the last World Cup was very generous to us Australians , don't think the next one will be as easy to watch though.

Soccer is good and is becoming more popular every year here in Canada.

The only pitiful thing is that american MLS. Thats just sad...

But the American system does produce good players, and is a good foundation for the future, as opposed to the Australian system, where all the good players leave at an early age, and not all of them come back to play for the national team.

Still, Europe is where the best soccer is played, in particular England, Italy and Spain.

Yeah I'm a big fan of futbol, especially in the premiership. I just wish all the best players in the world weren't on one team....uhemm...real madrid. Anyway nothing can top the Champions League games.

As a supporter of a team that is in the best position to make sure ManU win nothing this year (hint : a team that is no longer in the Champions League ), I second The Edge's sentiments :

                        Aggghhhhhhh........

When was the last time a team got a penalty AGAINST Man Utd anyway? I would really like to see statistics showing the number of penalties AWARDED to ManU and the number AGAINST, not to say that the refs are unfair or anything

                          Yes, no commecnt here.

Also, did you here about the Man Utd virus doing the rounds?

Your PC develops a disorder whereby the memory forgets everything before 1992.
