I have a nice connection. fast cable...two days ago I got 10.3 MBps down...no cap...no extra fees...
I guess I am lucky to have this kind of deal.

Here is Australia, not all areas have cable connections. I may be moving soon to an area that doesn't have cable, only ADSL. The specs are 1.5 Mbps down, 256 Kbps up, 16 GB per month (8 GB for peak and 8 GB for off-peak) - connection back to 72 Kbps if limit exceeded. $AUD 150 ($USD 80). I don't need this much bandwidth, but at this speed (1.5 Mbps), only high bandwidth accounts are available.

Sometimes those situations comes up when you have too much of one thing that is not needed and you get screwed into paying it since there are no other packages

1.5 Mbps down and 512 Kbps up, i pay 25 CDN $ which is like 15 US, i can get a 3.5Mbps downstream version for 45 CDN which is 28US.
thats probably the only thing which is cheaper in canada than U.S.

I normally get 3.5 mbps, but it varies.
I pay $29 USD for just cable, and with the TV deal, that is about $19.

Just like I wish I could download from a HTML source at 1.4 MBPS but I have to find a FTP server to download that fast
