For those who haven't, GO SEE X2!

I went to see X2 last night and I have to say it was awesome! It was much better than the original. They had so many characters doing cameos like Colossus, Siryn (sp?), Shadowcat, and even BEAST! Not to mention the ending that it had I did not see coming although I'm glad they did it. SEE THIS MOVIE!

I really enjoyed the first film, but the second definately contains more action (or so I here). Eventually I'll rent it

This movie is indeed befitting of the title X-Men. The first one had too few of the major characters playing, which was a major disappointment to me.

Damn! Magneto was darn cool in the show!

I plan on seeing it on tuesday.
i went on thursday to catch a midnight showing, but turns outit was a noon showing, lol. o well, i got a hot date for the movie, so it worked out better in the end.
Only thing they are going to be missin in the movie is gambit, he was the man

I agree it's better than the first one:
darker
more characters, still it doesn't get confusing
berry has double the number of lines (read: 4)
romjin shows more full-frontals
the good/evil boundry is blurred, and often crossed
Efects are flawless

After trying to see X1 i was disapponinted... BUT X2 is amazing.. it was great. The opening action sence with nightcrawler in the White House was Fantasic... and the fight between wolverine and the lady was great....I can't wait to see it again

Nightcrawler with a bit of sarcasm or humor would have been devastig. But I guess it just mirrors the comics character...

Yes Lady-Deathstrike, for X-MEN comic fans or fans of the Animated Series she was Wolverine's romance for a brief time before she went bizerk

BTW I've heard that the US President in X2 sounds a lot like President Bush

BTW I wonder if the movie would be better if the superheroes weren't wearing all-so-black uniforms and had their colourful comic uniforms? Would it be cool? or would it be corny?

Cool. Thanks for that info. It has been 5 years since I last watched the cartoon show X-men, so I would be forgiven to be forgetting things.

In that case, the movie might look more childish (or less mature) and will lose its appeal to the more mature audiences. I believe this all-black setting is the perfect one. The younger audiences will still love it (because it is X-men) and the older ones will not be turned away by the "corny" settings.

Spiderman looked good in blue and red....perhaps the same high-tech "wizardry" could bring X-MEN to life in colour
