I love the FOrd Mustangs. If you have engine problems, chuck out the engine, take an 8 cylinder from a corvette or newer mustang and shove it in. Here are some lovely Mustangs in time:

Actually the 2003 Mustang picture is made by ford but sold by Saleen since there is modifications done by them

ah right - what did you think about the first and second pictures. I love that car so much, however, im gonna have to find a picture of it in the deep blue with the soft top. i'd love to buy one, but since they cost $60,000 in their modified and new engin state, as the pictures show, then its too much for little old me. Too much by about....hmmmm......$60,000 lol

Yeah, they are very nice, but i would really love to see that car, same colour and body style, except with a convertible roof. Now that would be amazing. I can just see myself driving across the open plains..........ah *daydreamin*

they can't turn, so all they do is go straight.

saleen are much better than ford period end. I would compare a mustang to chevy impala, and saleen to lamborghini

Uh have you ever drove a Mustang? I have a friend with a Mustang GT and I drive it when I go over there it'll turn on a dime

it can turn on a dime at 10 miles an hour. you don't seem to understand engineering quite yet, because the S2000 was engineered by acura and honda. they made it have a mid mounted engine and a lightweight chassis. that makes the center of gravity at the center of turning. that way when you are going fast, you can turn much better. Also, the S2000 has a slight understeer, so the mid mounted enging and the slight understeer make turning at both low and high speeds really good.

The Mustang, and most american cars are Oversteered and not mid mounted. They aren't thinking about weight distribution with under/oversteering. they are thinking about a gas guzzling box-like drag/street racing car, not le mans, or european racing which turns are the main part.

Mustangs are for straight soft roads. Asian or european well engineered cars are for several varieties of roads including straight soft roads to windy rough roads

You have to remember chickeneater, we are not talking about cars that handle really well and have amazing race track performance, we are talking about amazing looking cars, with fast straight line acceleration. Well, i was anyway. I dont ever forsee me needing to turn a Honda or nissan or Subura on a dime, or even use its corner handling abilities, since i dont race cars. I drive quite sensibly. However, acceleration is always an asset for the every day driver, and that is exactly what the 1964,65 Ford Mustangs have when down up correctly. Amazing straight line power that handles patheticly, just as we want it too. It looks good, it feels good and it accelerates well, however, it will never win a race! Who cares.........

the lamborghini Carrera GT and the Other cars that I mentioned have amazing straight line acceleration.
lamborghini has 3.6 seconds 0-60
Carrera GT has 3.4 seconds 0-60
Porsche 917 Kurz-Heck has 2.1 second 0-60
Corvette Lingenfelter has 2 flat seconds 0-60
corvette Callaway sledgehamer has a top speed of 251 MPH
the porsche 917 KH has a top speed of 242 MPH
SVT Mustang COBRA has 4.5 seconds 0-60 and a top speed of 155
