He should be. He has the ability ot be a good striker, but i dont think he will be a first choice striker, Louis Saha might get that. i just hope that my super star Ole Gunner Solskjaer is happy with the football he gets. We LOVE u OLE

Claudio has been kicked out of Chelsea, confirmed a few minutes ago. They havent said if it is Mourinho replacing him, but everyone expects it to be.

            ...my only Solskjaer...

It'll be a real loss if Ole goes. I think it unfair to judge his performances this season due to the injuries he's had. I'm with you guys on that one, IMO Ole and Scholes are 2 of the best readers of the game in the premiership. It's easy to overplay his role as 'supersub' but there aren't many players who can consistently read the game so well that they can come on for ten minutes and hit the ground running.
Glad we're gonna have Smith next season but I hope it's not going to squeeze Ole out...

              France vs England...

What a game. Had everything, penalty saved, last minute winner, outstanding free kicks. The French were lucky, but the English didn't do enough up front to justify a comfortable victory.

Incidentally, the new Arsenal stadium will be similar to the stadium this match was played in (Estádio da Luz) - hope it carries the same luck for Arsenal as it did for the French.

i'm peessed off, that's what i think of french win. england deserved a win, but thanx to gerard's stupidity (not beckham's miss as most will claim), eng is pointless so far. that match only fueled my hatred towards french :x

I am well dissapointed with the French victory. We should have won but hey.....

Although one point to add, Sven's reward for the England players winning against the French was for them to spend the night with their wives/girlfriends.......

Maybe Becks missed that penalty on purpose

hey guys - im back from Majorca. Did you all watch all of the matches. I watched them all in Majorca (while drunk mostly) and i have to say, that i think germany look the most solid as a team. Were unlucky to have drawn with Holland, one great goal from RvN.

On the England Penalty miss, Beckham couldnt really have hitten it any better, it was just a fantastic save by Bartez. To be honest, Steven Gerards backpass was really stupid, but also, David James didnt inspire much confidence in me.

Swedens victory was very good. Henrik Larsson proves once again that his goals should be counted in the world rankings even though all the critics say he plays in the ****ty SPL. I think that his diving header goal has to be one of the best of the tournaments so far. It was truely amazing,a nd his second a minute later was cracker too. However, people will probably say that Zidanes goal for France was better, but to be honest, David James was standing in the complete wrong place for that free kick, so i dont think so.

Italy's draw was surprising. Also, i felt that the French, after being 2-0 up were going to run away with last nights match, but croatia did very well to get back in it. Again Silvestre gives away a stupid penalty. Englands win was great, but i see croatia putting up a good fight......

Spain only drew which was surprising, and Portugal got their needed win. Latvia played extremely well, and i felt outplayed czechs, but they failed to take their chances and eventually, the czechs got back in it to win.

Im really looking forward to Italy and Sweeden tonight, should be a great match. If Sweden win that it would be fantastic

                                ola oriphus!

on that missed penalty - all those beckham critics should bear in mind, that barthez & becks played & trained together for quite a few years, so fabien knows many of david's tricks. his probability of saving a penalty in this case went up up up!
