Look here everybody that is going to post here!

Ok guys not to long ago there was a rule stating anyone under 50 posts was not allowed to post in here. Is it really that hard to comprehend (spelling) something of the sort? I mean it's a sticky come on!

Hmm..I think it said you could post, just not create a new thread. Guess they want to keep the spammers away? I have posted and I think this is my second post to the forum, maybe third.

Yes exactly but I have seen people starting these against the rules. they want people to come to actually get with the topic not just join and spam their product/website

Some of the off-topic posts were moved from other forums to here, so thats why some thread starters do not have 50 or more posts.

Either that, or the 50 post enforcement is broken or missing after the latest round of forum software updates - it used to check that users had 50 posts, and if they didn't, it would display a "no permission to post" error message.

so, in otherwords, a user with <50 posts could post in any forum about an off topic question and have it moved here?

also, you should shadow the moving of topics so it would say something like:
Moved: Look here everybody that is going to post here!

ok, you'r maybe refering to this thread:

I have splitted it from another non-related thread and moved to the off-topic section.
That was a cleaning task and I suppose it was the good action evenif I broke the 50-posts rule, giving power and celebrity to CrazyCurt.

Most off topic posts would just be deleted if they weren't posted properly (Spam, posting in the wrong forum, etc...), but I guess if there is a really good discussion going on in an off topic post somewhere else, then it makes sense to move it here.
