Hi all, i just wanted to know what your opinions are on the simpsons cartoon series. don't you reckon the writers are resorting to cheap jokes nowadays? I have watched EVERY single episode up till now, and i have to say, they have been getting lamer since year 2000. is it just me?

I have pretty much all the older episodes memorised, but I've yet to watch regularly any of the new episodes. I think that says it all!!

yeah i pretty much know the scripts for the first couple of seasons
but i reckon homer, the best character, has lost all character (if that makes sense)... he used to eat a lot, and be innocently dumb, but now he is just an alcoholic and hasn't made me laugh in a loooong time

BTW, i heard there is a simpsons movie coming out in 2006

Right, the early Simpons are quality. I prefer Family Guy myself! Now thats good watching!
