the good sheperd is one that you need to watch a few times
a friend and I compared notes, we both missed things
we agreed tho, it was a "great movie"
recent american history is a prerequisite night
I dont think I am old enough and was here to see thing perspectively, that 's why it is diff for me to understand the movie completely I am sure many pp will see this movie diffly
Looks good I really enjoy foreign films they can be refreshing to watch at times, they don't have all that bull that Hollywood likes to throw in at times to sell tickets, they tell stories like they should be told.If you have interest in this film then I really think you would like Karakter
Just came across this trailer. Admittedly I haven't followed Stephen King's career lately, but I always enjoyed his older books and the majority of the screen adaptations. I mean...who didn't like Shawshank Redemption, right?
But this looks like it could top all of his other horror flicks to date. Christine, Carrie, Cujo, all the old ones will always hold fond memories, especially considering most of us watched them at younger ages, but this looks like it's going to scare the bejeebus out of everyone (as grown-ups!).
So I just got a couple new movies that I havn't watched yet and want to see what eveyone thinks of them. Just got A Scanner Darkly and Crank..tried to watch them last weekend after we got home from the pub but that wasn't the best time...couldn't see to straight

Scanner Darkly wasn't very good in my opinion.. Crank was very watchable.. funny at times ,plus lots of killing.. Kind of reminded me of Running Scared..
All I can say is 'Wow' 1408 looks like it will be great! I loved the story, in fact it was on of the very few stories that have ever scared me..hope the movie is a good...good find Burcs!
And thanks Volfann...yeah Scanner Darkly seemed very odd but Crank just seemed like him running around alot.. gonna try them sober soon

forgot all about that one. i'll see it when it comes to dvd in feb i think. have you seen the guardian? wasn't bad but wasn't too great either. demi moore's son ruins the whole thing - can't stand him.
For me that was Ashton's best preformance yet (made me change my mind about him).... did you see the Bonus Material on the DVD ? Basically states that Ashton did so well in CG training he could be a REAL CG swimmer !!
Throughly enjoyed ..... same director that did the Fugitive, Andrew Davis !
