I noticed that Grosse Point Blank is on TV next week. Dan Ackroyd does a decent comedy peformance.
I'm a huge John Cusack fan and that movie rules. great soundtrack on it too. One of his better ones is High Fidelity. Incredible movie. All time fav has to be Better Off Dead, Van Halen singing burgers = great flics

I have seen High Fidelty loads of times. My favourite bit was the Tim Robbins and the phone scene It makes good use of Queen's We are the Champions song (not on the soundtrack album). They had an incredible 57 music tracks in the film but only 15 on the album.
Black is incredible in the film and I fell in love with the Cosby Girl. another good film that John and Robbins did was Bob Roberts. A good watch if you haven't seen it.
the effects were incredible. I'm still a bigger fan of the original though. that movie still amazes me when I see it. worth the watch on the new one though.
war of the worlds is great. get it for sure. i really like it. even if you don't care for tom cruise like me, it's a fun movie. trust me.
another movie you need to see if you have not..."frailty" (2001) written, directed and starring bill paxton. also matthew McConaughey, powers boothe. very well done, neat ending too---try it
