Only ever watch in my home theatre or when I need to take my kid to a new release that he "must see now" - so maybe go once every 2 or 3 months.

Took the kids to see Robots about a month or two ago.
That film was bad (for me anyway, the little monsters loved it)
The last time must have been Revenge of the Sith...... no.... tell a lie, it was Sin City (quality flick)
I love the cinema, beats the crap out of watching it at home.
I try and go at least once a month

My wife and I took our daughter to see Madagasgar a couple of weeks ago...but other then that the last time we went to the theater was to see The Day After Tomorrow....It is just too damn expensive to go and I agree with Jmet my house is my theater (just gotta get the wife to understand that haha....really which would you prefer to watch a movie in a crowded messy theater full of annoying people or at home on a 27" flat screen with 5.1 sound...I know what I pick everytime...then again she seems to want to watch movies in bed...regular tv and no 5.1 there....then again it is in the bedroom....).sigpic

i agree, the theatre would be great if it was just you, and you could roll your BBQ in there too. home is better especially if you have a good set-up. i can't stand all the people kicking seats and chatting...

"by the way setarip, when was the last time YOU went to a theatre?"
The last time I went to a movie theatre was this Spring in Cannes. Prior to that was in May 1977 - A friend of the family arranged for us to be in San Francisco, California for the world premiere of a novel space sci-fi movie...

Last film was Star Wars Epsiode III on release date. I almost went to see the Cruise version of War of the Worlds. Before Star Wars it was Return of the King.
I prefer to watch my own Home Cinema. At least I can stop the film when I want a bathroom break or get food and drink. Also, my local cinema doesn't have DTS.Comment
