Michael Vick sentenced to 23 months

Michael Vick, age 27, of Hampton, Virginia, was sentenced today for his role in an illegal dog fighting venture. Vick was previously charged with three other men for conspiring to travel in interstate commerce in aid of unlawful activities and to sponsor a dog in an animal fighting venture, in violation of federal law. Vick was sentenced to a term of 23 months in federal prison, followed by a 3 year term of supervised release. Additionally, a restitution order dealing with the past and future care of the dogs seized from Vick's property in Virginia will be entered later today by Court. Chuck Rosenberg, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, and Brian L. Haaser, Special Agent-in-Charge, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Office of Inspector General, Northeast Region, made the announcement after Vick was sentenced by United States District Judge Henry Hudson.

Didn't the other guys get just slightly longer sentences?
Without Vick's money they wouldn't have been in operation.

Usually its the CEO thats gets nailed to the wall, when/if they catch them..

His off-field actions deserve this BUT his troubles are not over yet as he has to face county charges too. Maybe he will be an old man when he gets out.

BTW: Whatever happened to double jeopardy?

BUT he is a player in the NFL with a collective agreement. Only time will tell if he comes back or not.

Will the site email you the forgotten password if you have user id and email address? I had the same problem but managed to figure it out, it was the user name I forgot if it makes you feel better,lol.

@ Gary D - Please accept my apologies for being so late in congratulating you on a fantastic week! A couple more like that and I won't need to take a week off for you to catch me!

The Thursday games are messing me up! Last week I would of went with Washington, but this week I would of had a zero anyway. You know me and the Broncos!!! There has to be something said for loyalty though....you either are or you aren't. lol

It looks like all you have to do is enter the email address you used and they can send you your site ID and provide the right info and they send you a new password. I just did it and got my ID and then a new password in about 3 minutes total using thye email address I signed up with and the info (birth date etc) I used)
