josie/everybody - I try to send reminders to those that have not made their picks but some times I forget. In the pool there is a way to set an email reminder - click on options at the top of the page - then alerts then on right hand set notifications to yes and click pick reminder. I use it. It is better then stapling a post-it to my forehead.

Tonight is MNF Eagles-Giants. There have been many great games between them as we know. The eagles have had their share of crazy games against the Giants with the Miracles at the Meadowlands and last years Black Sunday when the eagles wore their all Black uniforms and defeated the Giants 27-0. The Eagles will wear all black again tonight - will it be Black Monday for the Eagles or Giants?

Eli as Coughlin said recently keeps getting better. Bradford just had the best game of his career against the Saints. Should be a great game tonight!

EAGLE GIANTS SERIES NOTES FROM THE EAGLES GAME RELEASE
      • Philadelphia has faced the Giants more times (166) than any
other team in the history of the franchise
      • Under the direction of Head Coach Chip Kelly, the Eagles have
won three of four games against the Giants and have outscored
New York 104-62 over the span
      • The Birds have won 11 of their last 14 games against the Giants
dating back to December 7, 2008
      • The series between the two teams began in 1933 as the Giants
defeated the Eagles at the Polo Grounds in Manhattan
LAST 10 MEETINGS (EAGLES LEAD SERIES 7-3)
      November 21, 2010 Philadelphia 27-17 (at Philadelphia)

      October 12, 2014 Philadelphia 27-0 (at Philadelphia)
December 28, 2014 Philadelphia 34-26 (at New York)

        2015 week 6 results

Last nights Eagles game with the Giants first drive where they moved down field easily and scored a TD it looked like it was gonna be Black Monday for the Eagles. After that TD the Eagles defense woke up, got a pick 6 and the Giants never scored again. Eagles won 27-7

Might be a good thing the Eagles only have Sam Bradford under contract for this year. He has 9 TD's and 9 interceptions in 6 games 4 of them in the end zone!

Next up for the Eagles are the Panthers

Week 6 Nghi won the 9 pick 5 way tie for 1st with a TS of 40. Mike got 2nd, uufta got 3rd. Nobody got CT/TS. Congrats to ya!

Week 7 starts Thursday. Get them picks in! Good Luck to All!!!

              Eagles vs Panthers series history

Eagles - Panthers Series History from Eagles game release

Sunday’s contest marks the 10th overall meeting
(including playoffs) between the two teams, with the Eagles
              leading the series, 6-3
              • The Eagles are 2-1 against the Panthers at Bank of America
              Stadium in Charlotte
              SERIES NOTES
              • Philadelphia travels to Carolina for only the fourth time in team
history and the first time since 2009. The Birds have won the
last two meetings at Bank of America Stadium
              • The Eagles have a winning record against all four teams in the
NFC South -- the only division in football in which they hold an
              advantage over each team
              • In last year’s 45-21 victory over the Panthers, the Eagles
sacked Carolina QB Cam Newton nine times, while WR
Jordan Matthews caught seven passes for 138 yards and two
              touchdowns
LAST NINE MEETINGS (EAGLES LEAD SERIES 6-3)
              October 27, 1996 Philadelphia 20-9 (at Philadelphia)
              November 7, 1999 Carolina 33-7 (at Carolina)
              November 30, 2003 Philadelphia 25-16 (at Carolina)
              January 18, 2004 Carolina 14-3 (at Philadelphia - NFCC)
              October 17, 2004 Philadelphia 30-8 (at Philadelphia)
              December 4, 2006 Philadelphia 27-24 (at Philadelphia)
              September 13, 2009 Philadelphia 38-10 (at Carolina)
              November 26, 2012 Carolina 30-22 (at Philadelphia)
              November 10, 2014 Philadelphia 45-21 (at Philadelphia)

Just like it says "history", has nothing to do with the present. Newton is playing awesome.

The Eagle O line looks like it is starting to jell after the new players on the line and the injuries healed. Pass protection has been good and Murray got his 1st 100 yd game last week against the Giants.

Special team play has been good.
The D line has been awesome lately. They have not allowed a 100 yd rusher in the last 16 games. Pressure on Newton this game could be the key to winning the game.

Should be a good game and I like the Eagles in this game.

Wow the Panthers surprise me in this game! I had the Eagles all the way and the Panthers defense just made that Eagles offense look non existent! That's why the NFL is one of the best sport out here! We just don't know what we're going to get from week to week. And all those drop balls didn't help any at all. I just checked out the spreadsheet and for the first time since you started using it now I realized how the winners and the points are put up. Duh! I thought we were still playing the old way by correct picks. Well I guess we have to do at least 10 11 12 correct picks right every week to get up there in the top three.Well at least the Patriots looked human this week and the Jets gave him a real good run for the money! Hopefully someone will bring them down by the end of season if not we looking at another undefeated season by the Patriots!

                  2015 week 7 results

dr - ur right the Eagles receivers looked like they were trying to catch hot coals without gloves. Way too many dropped passes. The D gave up their 1st 100 yd rusher and over 200 yds rushing total,

Week 7 Tammie won the 10 pick 4 way tie for 1st with a TS of 42. Nght got 2nd, uufta got 3rd. Nobody got CT/TS Congrats to ya!

josie missed 4 TNF picks that coulda tied her for wining the week with a shot of winning the weeks with the tie breaker.

Had a typo in the pool spreadsheet top right header on the page. I had 33 for 1st place in pick points at the end of the regular season.

In the body of the spreadsheet it had 34 (which it should be). I expanded the point explanation to read Total points is 17 X 96 =1632 + 34 for 1st + 20.40 for 2nd + 13.60 for 3rd in pick points =1700 (10x10x17) – 1 for any missed weeks and + 5 for any CT/TS winners.

reminder TNF this week get them picks in!! Good Luck to all! :

Jason Peters is out for this game with back spasms. Lane Johnson moving from RT to LT to try and handle Hardy, and Kelly going in at RT. Another make shift line but I think the Murray and the birds will do OK this game,

Week 9 I won the 8 pick 5 way tie for 1st with a TS of 45. Dan got 2nd, josie and uufta tied for 3rd. Nobody got CT/TS

Eagles revamped O line did it this time! Won the game in OT!

Shame that Eagle rookie Jordan Hicks, the beast of a linebacker, tore his pectoral and is out for the season.

His is great and even as a rookie was calling plays for the D
