You know I remember something mentioned in previous topics here about this b4 I striked for such a long time... (makes me an incredible fool specially when I went to the extremes to get out.... glad it didnt happen? SURE I AM)

Wilst I agree this was implemented it is not free of cheating and coops between users (including mods) to accumulate more and more positive rep....

I have a very mixed opinion on it....

On 1 side we got the rep points +/- as gesture of apprecciation/disagreeing for the advice provide...

On the other hand we got a system that is potentialy perfect but users can and Im sure some do take advantage of the imperfections about it....

So wilst post count just means your a freak on the keyboard not necessarally and expert a good rep count should mean your post are meaninfull and not a total resolution to any issue...

So my division is (Q) Why cant there be a system were we can all be as educated and civil as we deserve...

      (A) Because the majority of users Experienced and Newbs (not just here) alike either dont know or dont care about anything else but themselfs...

Am I about to leave any forum that hosts this method?

No chance.... Am I gonna Cheat? Not if I can help it! Am I gonna fight and get people (including myself) to realise theire short commings? I sure am!

      Does anyone know why?

I just got another red for this post.

The comment was "warm water and soap and a bit of rubbing...."

I read that you are not supposed to use labels (in The Golden Rules of Burning) but what about CD Stomper labels? They seem to have some "stay on" guarantee thing, so should have no prob. I used them fine before, just wanna get the experts' expertise before putting them on my final discs.

Warm water does not work with the labels I have. All it does is soak the DVD. I am certainly not putting the end result in a £400 DVD player. It would be easier just to make another disc. It seems some people haven't got anything better to do.

                  from reputation faqs:
...and once you reach a certain level, the icons will change from dark red/green to bright red/green.
and after all icons changed to full bright?

                  regards

It's soon christmas time and perhaps the software will make all reputation icons into red.

It seems That I have to admit that this rep thing can only be given by people that can look at our posts and grade then by theire content and quality of the reply... Leaving it to someone that doesnt understand the system and or just does it a negative because the sky is grey or theire PMS'ing (no offense girls) Or plainly having a mid live crises at 15 years of age is not exactly the point....

But why am I complaining my reds arent half as many as drf xmas supercenter wonder why boy...
