ghosting on my monitor

i have noticed on my tft monitor there is alot of ghosting around writing and images and i'm wondering why that is and how do i fix it.

has this always happened? is it a new monitor? what connection (dsub/dvi?)?

if it only happens when you browse web pages (java web pages, to be exact), check in your graphics card drivers that you have not forced anti-aliasing

as stated above was it always like this. if not have you updated any drivers such as your video drivers.if it just started you can try a system restore.

I very much doubt this is a graphics card or driver issue. Purchase an SVGA lead and try that, I bet you're using standard VGA. SVGA will be a much clearer output and resolve the issue.
