What is a good and FREE Pop-Up Blocking program? One that isn't too intrusive and doesn't have spyware included with the download. I need something that will work with an AOL browser. Many don't. I'd appreciate any suggestions.

I know AOL has one but its not that great

i don't use AOL, but i suggest you at least try firefox (http://www.mozilla.org), which is easily the best browser IMO.
or you could search http://www.download.com for free blockers. cnet introduced their 'no spyware' policy a couple of months ago

Thats the one I used to use and it's pretty good. I have Opera now and I have no problems at all with pop-ups. Anything is better than AOL's browser thing!!!Originally Posted by BR7Jack

I couldn't agree with you more AOLs browser is horrible I didnt like it all I also made the switch to MSN about 6 months ago its nice to get away from AOL.I have been using Opera and Firefox I started to tilt to Opera until some of the web pages wouldnt work right for me such as Netflix so now I am on the Firefox wagon againOriginally Posted by Jack LurkerComment

I have been giving IE7 Beta a try it isnt to bad the only thing I dont like is when you go to favorites you cant open it in a new tab I am looking to see if there is a setting to change this but I cant seem to find it thats the only neg I have on it so far.But it is nice to have the tab feature on IELast edited by BR7; 1 Oct 2005, 07:17 PM.Comment
