Motorola RAZR V3. Why? because it's expensive and thin. Though I use it mainly for calls and text messaging, it does MPEG4.

nice one, 2COOL i would've bought one (black) if i had the extra cash, and already owned a large lcd screen

just read this from motorola's official website about the razr3:
TFT display with ATI Graphic Accelerator
don't know how much it can be accelerated...

I had an opportunity to get the black one but I backed off for 2 reasons.

        1. It's just a black coating (anodized). If you get deep scratches, you'll see the default silver like its silver counterpart.

        2. The coating looks to me like it would show alot of fingerprints and smudges and I hate having to continuously clean/wipe it. Bad enough I have to clean the display for ear prints.

yeah i hate those nasty earprints, i get them too occasionaly, they are unavoidable

the black coating sucks then, i thought motorola would do better than that

does it support memory expansion? 5mb isn't much for mpeg-4 support...

                  Same as 2COOL. Great fone.

As for earprints - fahgetaboutem. Get a Motorola Bluetooth - dunno you're even wearing it.

I don't have a cell phone either, they're evil and should be banned. But at least I'm no longer the cheapest person I know, since I do have a couple of cordless units.

I have never had a new phone. I get my Brothers old phones when he upgrades. I had his Nokia 3310 and just changed it for Motorola V500, My brother now has a Samsung E720.

If I had a new phone I like the look of the Samsung D500.

I don't do contract phones so, I use my pay as you go sim cards in them.

same here, but my phone was 'locked in' to the '3' network when i bought it, and i think thats why it was so cheap ($200 AU). i took it to a phone dealer (one that was not influenced by a communications giant), and for $25 it was unlocked for me, so i could choose my network. i switched as soon as the $50 free credit that came with my phone was finished
