this is what i purchased some years ago. it was on sale for au$80 (k-mart).
has a good built-in extrapolation to 3mp. the only bad point, it lacks sound with the vid feature. a very plain & basic cam, but takes darn good pics
When I bought a Digital Camera, I went for the smallest one I could find. I bought a Optio 4si (Good Camera). Then I realised that I wanted a small camera that could take more than 60 secs of video, so I bought a Sony DSC-T3. It's great, and I love it. It's so small that I can carry it with me all the time and forget I even have it. You never know when you're going to have a photo-op when you have a 4 year old. I take photos most of the time, but I'll take short video clips, when there is sound and motion involved. For example, when my daughter is sledding, or swinging, or just acting silly. I recently took it on a ski trip and was able to take video while skiing. Now, I haven't bothered to take the mpg's and transfer them to DVD yet though. I think the majority of people have the cameras set on auto.
