I am very pleased to see old classics like so many Alfred Hitchcock movies and others greats like The Apartment, Casablanca, 12 Angry Men, Paths of Glory (what a flick!) etc on the list. I have them all. Surprised that Butch and Sundance and The Green Mile were so far down.

are you at least going to watch 'king kong'? it looks awesome, and so does the pc game

everybody has seen so many, it looks like i need to invest some cash in movie rentals

38 of the 100 and 87 of the 250. Some of the highly rated ones I have started to watch and turned off because I thought they were rubbish, could never get into the Usual suspects for example. And I fell asleep half way through the Godfather and have never tried to watch again. Although I did think that what I saw of it was quite good. I agree with you LT, Shawshank should be number 1!!

72 / 100 - I don't understand their ratings (regular voters) #4 only has 80,XXX votes and #6 only 36,XXX. It doesn't seem right to me. How come with regular voters #6 is in that position with only 36,XXX votes?
