I am a bit pissed off at the Nero Company they wont let me get the free upgrade I missed the september deadline by a week and I think its a bunch of BS if the Best buy would have told me to wait a week I would have I am not an idiot its a bit deceitful on best buys part.If you ask me its a crappy way to treat your customers on Neros behalf I could see them saying no if I missed the deadline by 2 weeks or more hell I even had my receipt and the original box as proofLast edited by BR7; 23 Oct 2005, 10:14 AM.Comment

I did go to bestbuy a few days ago and picked up Nero 7 if you have your receipt for Nero 6 you get a $30 instant savings at bestbuy and then you send the rebate form in to nero and they will send you $20Comment

Somebody just gave me a Red for this!! I have Nero but to be honest I never use it. I have DVD Shrink and ImgBurn so I dont see any point in paying for Nero when I can get better burning software for free. What did you pay at bestbuy? I did the same thing but bought my upgrade to Ultra online from Nero on 8-4-05, and they didn't mention when 7 was coming out!Originally Posted by BR7

I paid $69.99 with tax it came to $74.89 at BestBuy you have to have your receipt for Nero 6 to show proof of upgrade.And I sent my rebate in to Nero and will get $20 back from them in about 6-8 weeks so all total I would have paid $49.99Last edited by BR7; 25 Oct 2005, 08:02 AM.Comment

@BR7 - Thanks!!! Thats what I paid for the upgrade from Nero 6 OEM to the Ultra Version I think. Now I gotta see what the cost will be to go to 7, all for 3 weeks or so
