lol To be honest, I wasn't looking to buy any DL disc either. I was looking for a DVD+RW disc that will write higher than 2.4X and stumbled upon that deal.

it's a damn good thing, every pack of dvd's should come with an RW, i see "i've wasted 20 discs so far...HELP!" WAY too often!

The Riteks have not got the good reputation that Verbatims have. Spend more money and get the Verbates.

As always with blank media, buying the best is cheapest in the long run.

I have had no problems with Ritek DL media. An newish DL writer with up to date firmware should have no problems. I can burn them on my Pioneer 109 when a cdr freaks review said they did not work. I was using the same firmware as well.

However, for the price of just $3.99 I would go for the verbatims and pay the extra $1 each.

In the UK. It is the usual $1 = £1 things and verbs are at least £4/$7 each. Riteks are half that.

Shipping is a little steep for me came out to $4.16 a piece for me in NJ not counting the RW. I stocked up a little when Staples had the clearance on the Verbatims DL - 3 for $5.50
