Xerox then IBM had it made, dropped the ball, Gates picked it up and ran with it, Jobs tried.
I just love my Xerox computer running OS2!
Kinda makes me wonder what that Xerox exec in NY thought after
he told the lady in charge of PARC to go ahead and show Gates and Job
anything they wanted to see, since Xerox didn't see anything of value
in overlapping windows, Gui's or mice.
IBM's decison to go with OS2 instead of Windows just opened the door for
Gates and Compaq, HP etall.
