For the first time ever, in 145 years of the race, we have a three-peat in the Melbourne Cup.

The great Makybe Diva, a mare carrying 58kg (a record) wins this 2 mile classic easily for the third time in a row.

I'm not a horse person, but WOW! Can that horse run.

She's off to be a broodmare now - what a way to go out.

just curious does anybody know how much weight was added to Phar Lap per the movie. I saw the movie but can't remember how much weight was added.
