    Yes, tracert is also a command line thing. Just type in ping or tracert followed by the URL of the site you want to ping/trace to.

      Ok. Will do. Brb.

      Ok it timed out on all pings on both forum.didgital-digest.com and digital-digest.com. tracert stopped at dsl router. So my router acting like outgoing firewall. that's ok. Now we know some stuff was actually your working on the sites.

          Does this happen with all AVI files, or just this one? The next step I would try is to find out what kind of AVI file it is. I would install MediaInfo, run it on the file and perhaps post a screen shot of it and post it here (use Windows Sniping Tool if in Vista/7).
