Also, I cannot watch a film in 16:9 on TV when I am used to seeing the film in 2.35:1 on DVD. I tried watching Stargate one time and everytime they did a close up. The peoples heads were cropped at the top and the image was also cropped at the sides. The worse thing was the picture. Even thought it was digital, it was worse than my old VHS version.
I filled my wardrobe with DVD's. I threw out a load of clothes to make room. Excuse, the funny angles of the pictures. There isn't much room in there.
The Star Trek, X Files, Millennium, Stargate and CSI cases all have 6 or 7 DVD's in each one.

Erm... wow. I love watching TV. TV shows ARE in 4:3 even on DVDs, so who cares? I just tape them and pause during commercials. As for movies, I have a limited amount of money (maybe not some of you who have over 600 DVDs ) so I can't just go out and buy the DVD... I either rent it, which I have to pay for too... or just watch on TV and tape it (which is legal too ).CYA Later:

I got TNG when they first came out. After all seasons have been released for a while, they get re-released in a big box/packaging. The TNG Cube was something like £400 when it came out.
They have done the same with Voyager. It is a transporter pad.

Oh you are all in the UK! Here everything is 4:3, what a shame. Seems the USA is one of the only countries that makes everything 4:3, like DVDs too. Some movies you can't even get in widescreen!Last edited by drfsupercenter; 26 Nov 2005, 02:09 AM.CYA Later:
