The wife wanted to stop about 200 hundred ago but the way I look at it is we would spend more going to a small cramped theater to see it, I would rather buy it...plus the shelves look so good all full Of course I will soon run out of room on the two bookshelves and the boss has put her foot down against buying another shelf....plus no room to put it....hmmm guess I better buy a bigger house :rolf:

Will blue ray burners or the new HD-DVD be backwards compatible? I hope so.
Hate to think these libraries might become obsolete.
Yes they will be. Even if the standards themeselves don't include backwards compatibility (Sony's Blu-ray), manufacturers are smart enough to know that without DVD playback (with HD upscaling), they will be losing out on a huge market segment.
I used to buy a lot of CD's and LD's. THEN I got married. Now I only buy movies I'm going to watch many times. My wife pointed out to me: Why do you need to buy a movie that you're only going to watch once? I gave her the "It's cheaper than going to the movies" line of reasoning. Then she told me to go rent the DVD's and buy only if I was going to watch it many times. She didn't want to waste money and also didn't want to waste space either. So, instead of having thousands like my single friend, I have over a hundred.

I do like beer but I don't see the point in spending so much money that you end up being plastered and can't even remember the next day.
I rather just have the one beer and enjoy it. I like my Guiness and Budweiser (the checklovakia original and not the U.S equivalent) every now and then. I can make a 24 pack of lager last over six months.
If I had a choice of a DVD or a few beers. The DVD's will win everytime.
