I just went over 550 this weekend...hmmm I had a goal of 500 by 12/31/05 I wonder if 1000 by 12/31/06 will be out of reach I may have to buy a house just so I can build some shelves for them !

I now have every movie that I own backed up.
Reason being my son damages then all the time. My originals are kept on a custome made book shelf that I designed just for my movies and that is in a very large walk in closet that is locked at all times. Some movies that my son and I both like a lot I have 2 copies of.

This way if and when a disc becomes damaged I still have the original untouched by little hands.

Well i started way before dvds were even around. I just put them on vhs tape via 2 vcrs. When dvds started up and before i got a good computer and learn how to do it i was just transfering them to VHS tapes. I have 241 tapes with 651 movies on them. Now i have an additional 130 movies on DVDs for a grand total of 781. Here they are.

i have been a movie collector long before DVD's were out as well if I were to count all of movies including both DVD's and VHS I have well over 3,000 movies not sure on the total count I have a few hundered to my dad and a few hundered to some friends when they came out on DVD. been replacing the old VHS with DVD
