Best new prog of 2005

I know Ner0 isn't really new, but I wanted to include it anyway. Apologies to ALL other progs that had updates - and meaningful ones at that - including my faves PgcEdit, VobBlanker and DVD Decrypter (Vale).

If I've missed any obvious contenders, let me know and I'll add an option.

I still think all of the onwer relate in that program should come up with some things so I will buy it right away, I mean the wizzard just link them together after I rip with dvdd few copy and paste then push one putton............ new dvd

the mad monk's PSL2 plugin, though i have yet to use in "real life" circumstances

From programs I have used, I voted for MenuShrink. I haven't had the need to use the PSL2 plugin yet.

The Mad Monks Program, WHY, because it is the primary program what will keep DVD Decrypter alive and running.

BUT, lets not forget the other support software like VTS, Pgc Edit, Voblanker that supports the PSL-2 plug-in.

I've gone for the plugin for the same reasons as Ed Klein. Although you shouldnt be so modest blu, you should have put your installer package in there. It's going to save a lot of people from having a lot of problems. Fix VTS is another fine peice of work from Jeanl and I use menushrink on almost every movie I backup. I want to multiple vote!!!!!!

Gee, that's a hard one. The people that wrote these programs all deserve a lot of credit.
I chose the Mad Monks plugin simply because it made my ripping a whole lot easier while still using decrypter, the best ripper ever! A lot of people spent a lot of time and effort in making these programs work, and work well. Putting the guides together, making the installer, getting the bugs out, re-writing the guides....the list goes on and on. You all deserve and my....our....undying appreciation!

Personally, I think Ulead Video Studio 9 was the best new prog, but I voted for ImgBurn since UVS isn't up there.

is very hard to choose.i mean "it's impossible",you got my words bill7621.
the only one that i don't know is "the mad monk's plugin",all the others i like too much include the ner0 (as blue call it).....and i have the RB free,don't know all advantages of the pro version but the free is great....i can imagine how the pro version is cool.

I vote for Mad Monk's plugin because allow me to use DVD Decrypter, one of the very best software of all times (in my opinion).

I think the option to vote for more than one choice would have shown
2nd and 3rd places better, standard wookie testing methodology.

Maybe so Chewy, but the poll is seeking the best one, not 2md or 3rd. Not getting a vote for best may still make a prog 2nd best.

For mine - Plugin, MenuShrink (because I know how easy it makes something that was really complicated), Muxman (this is a wonderful piece of work that produces perfection every time).

Excuse me for asking, but what exactly does the Mad Monk plugin do? Decrypter works fine for me without a plugin. Is that the ARccOS plugin for it?
