side off case, go into bios, dadadada, shucks I thought you were gonna
tell me a trick on how to get XP to pull the sata drives off something else.
I'd settle for a usb floppy.

or do you slipstream the sata drivers into an administrative install
            folder and make a cd?

i thought about slipstreaming into the xp cd once or twice, but just never got around to doing it (there was nothing wrong with my xp backup cd, plus i'm a lazy person)

i also wanted to add SP2 to it...

do it at least once, you'll never get as good an install from the upgrade
route, I did it with SP1 long ago and far away, put off the SP2 one far too long.
W2K was in sp 3 or 4 when MS had to incorporate this procedure, system
administrators trying to run a repair disk with their original W2k cd on
computers upgraded with service packs wouldn't even boot. And when
you PO these guys, bad news!
Typing the run commands was horrible, a friend almost busted a gut when
I was talking to him about it, it was part of his course work, he said
                copy and paste!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do'H

Most of the time people criticize repair disk, they are repairing with
                    the wrong disk. Do'H
