Bob Holness (of english student gameshow Blockbusters) was the first Bond, though i think it was just for radio. According to another english prog last week, there was a Jimmy Bond in America before that on u.s radio.Comment

That is worth some rep points. Bob Holness did Bond for Radio in 1956 doing Moonraker. He was not the first one (although a lot of places say he is).
In 19654 a American actor was James Bond for CBS TV broadcast of Casino Royale (not radio). His name was Barry Nelson. See link below.

I grew up with him so I guess I'm going to have to say Moore is my favorite.
I love Connery for "Junior, We named the dog Indiana"
I think Brosnan is the best looking.
While I understand that Dalton was the closest to the book, he was my least favorite.
BTW what is your all time favorite Bond Film? Mine is without a doubt For Your Eyes Only. I have a REAL nice teaser sheet of the film.Last edited by TNT; 3 Jan 2006, 05:38 PM.Beauty is in the eye of the Beer-Holder.

Moore was good and he was the funniest of the Bonds but he wasn't what you would picture a spy to be I am not sure how to describe my view of him other then I think he is a bit femmy acting but that's what made him funny to me. I am not out to insult any one so please don't take my comment as suchComment

It wasn't a shot at him soup he is my 3rd favorite Bond and I like Moore as an actor he was in a couple of films I liked such as Curse of the Pink Panther,The Cannonball Run.This was how I viewed him as the Bond Character I wasn't judging his acting skills in other films. As for Dalton I thought he was great in The Living DaylightsLast edited by BR7; 4 Jan 2006, 04:05 AM.Comment
