    10 gb will be too small if you have to back up a d/l close to 8.5gb

          Yeah... I upgraded a hard drive and mobo and decided to reinstall from scratch. This required me to phone MS Activation and convince the techie that I really honestly did upgrade hardware.

            Yeah, and now it is all computers... at least you can press "0" to get customer service! (I wonder if you press 0 when you call Nero tech support )

              Well, finally got round to putting it all together. Boots up fine, give it a benchmark with some heavy dvdshrinking, it switches off. Bums. Open it up, heatsink isnt on right, fix it, boot up again. More heavy dvdshrinking, all fine. Install speedfan for cpu temperature monitoring just in case, says cpu is at 85c. Ok. Install motherboard Monitor 5 for second opinion, says case is at 85c. Put kettle on, make tea, decide to sort it tomorrow.
