I don't use headphones. I have Boston speakers, but I never turn them on unless I know I have to listen to something. I hate the click-clicking of the mouse/cursor.

I just select no sounds. I hate all those little noises too.
TNT, i did some reading up on grado, and apparently you can't get them in australia, unless you're willing to pay a hefty price;
sounds like bad news at first, but we have "alessandro" available here, which is a rebranded grado and they're cheaper here than in the US, methinks the grado sr60 equivalent is this http://headphones.com.au/prod_one.php?productID=19#top
still just as ugly, but considering reviewers call the product "legendary" i guess i could get used to them
what do you think?
Judging solely on the frequency response, it looks like a rebadged SR-225. Honestly have never listened to the 225's. I'm sure they're better than the SR60's but how much better I don't know. All I can say is that when I compared the SR60 to the SR125's there wasn't that significant of a difference to justify more than double the price ($150 USD). (Caveat: I love Audio and you can trust my ears.) The 60's at approx $69 USD is really a Steal. I would say that you were literally geting 97% of the quality for less than 50% of the price. Maybe there is a Rebadged SR60 for a lot less. (about 91 Austrailian Dollars by my reckoning.) PS: The MS-2's look like the SR325i's, and the MS-Pro's look like they are the RS1's

Perhaps a real browser is the answer for you both.
what? I have used Firefox for years,lol.
There are other sounds associated with windows beside using IE. That's why I select no sounds instead of windows default.
