Now the real Aussie men will hate me for this, but...
Tonight, I am cooking for Firey!!! (She loves that and I hate it, but what the heck)
We are having:
- Rack of lamb (hard to mess up - just pop it in the oven, right?)
- Spuds (this is the work, peeling, mashing etc - I did think of 'instant' but perish the thought)
- Garden salad (just shake a few green things together and add dressing)
- Cheese (just take it outa the fridge, easy)
- Coffee
Then to finish it off:
- Washing up
I might just get a tonight (but we are gunna start watching Lost S1)

Well last night our daughter bbq'd for about half the family. Went through lbs of lean ground beef & sausage with all the fixings. BTW I normally do the bbqing but she arranged the bbq & wanted to do the cooking as well. Licensed to grill.
Put a layer of tostitos on a plate and cover with the meat, top with shredded cheese, sour cream, salsa and lettuce. MMMM, MMMMM good!

Take the work out of your potatoes by cooking in the microwave. Wash potato and stab a few times with a fork or knife and slather with olive oil and salt, then put the potato in a ziplock bag and microwave for 5 minutes, take the potato out and wrap in tin foil and let sit for 5 more minutes. Top with bacon bits, cheese and sour cream.
"I refuse to have a battle of wits with an unarmed person. It's not fair to you and no challenge for us."
Started with some shrimp cocktail last night. After that we had a scallop and shrimp dish with a creamy sauce. It had blue and parmesan cheese in it. Nicely browned under a broiler. The main meal was a couple 7 oz lobster tails with some nice ribeyes. Washed down with a bottle of Henkel Trocken.
